Akeiva is a powerhouse in the financial services industry.

In her current role with Ballentine Partners, she works as the Financial Education Specialist where she develops financial education content and strategy and hosts the Ballentine Broadcast: Conversations on Black Wealth. She feels here life's calling is to promote economic equity, justice, and empowerment and does so through several activities. One of those is through her Youtube channel The Bemused. Co-run with her husband, they make sense of all things money for young adults just like them. They also offer MONEY 180™, a course for young adults seeking to develop culturally inclusive financial literacy skills.
